This complex project combined a heritage restoration with a new luxury extension and basement construction. A new basement level was constructed, incorporating a garage, cellar, and games room, with advanced structural systems including shotcrete walls, bored piers, and suspended slabs.
Project Scope
The original home required meticulous restoration to match its historic character, including:
- Reconstruction of verandas and balconies
- Restoration of tessellated tiling and bluestone elements
- Repair and reinstatement of original wrought iron fencing
- Installation of a new slate roof and detailed render finishes
The new extension features:
- Precast concrete wall panels with architectural finishes
- Full-height glazing and stone cladding
- Standing seam metal cladding
The Project Outcome
Landscaping includes a fully integrated outdoor area with pool, gym, BBQ space, and manicured gardens.
